On March 31st, at the 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference Digital Economy Cooperation and Innovation Forum held at the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, the "2026 Global Digital Economy Innovation Competition AIGC For Future Global Challenge" was announced to the public. This competition is co sponsored by the Global Digital Economy Cities Alliance (DEC40) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio and Television. It aims to gather global digital innovation forces and help accelerate the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology.
