On December 2nd, guided by the Organizing Committee of the Global Digital Economy Conference, the Global Digital Economy Conference City Tour (Ya'an) and the 8th Big Data Application Practice Conference, jointly hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, Sichuan Provincial Big Data Center, and Ya'an Municipal People's Government, were grandly held in Ya'an. The conference, with the theme of "Building a new ecosystem of computing power applications and jointly creating a new future of digital integration", aims to establish a cross regional and international platform for ideological collision and resource docking, gathering forces from all parties to jointly seek ways to construct a computing power ecosystem and explore opportunities for digital integration development.

Representatives from more than 300 well-known enterprises such as domestic and foreign universities and research institutions, Huawei, Alibaba Cloud, Baidu, as well as about 500 experts, scholars, and representatives of investment and financing institutions gathered in Ya'an to participate in the development of the digital economy.

Yu Jing, the head of the Secretariat of the Global Digital Economy Conference Organizing Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the conference organizing committee. She pointed out that the Global Digital Economy Conference has become an important platform for international cooperation and continues to deepen various exchanges and cooperation. For this city tour event, she proposed four cooperation directions: establishing a normalized cooperation mechanism for Beijing Ya'an, exploring scene integration and co construction, jointly building digital industry momentum, and working together to promote international cooperation.

The "Digital Economy New Channel" construction action plan has been officially launched, which inherits the spirit of ancient Tea Horse Road, relies on Ya'an's green energy and location advantages, aims to build a new cooperation platform for digital infrastructure interconnection, efficient circulation of data elements, and coordinated development of industrial ecology, and promote the co construction of the "Digital Silk Road".

Jointly initiated by Zeng Qi, Deputy Mayor of Ya'an Municipal People's Government, You Jing, Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the Global Digital Economy Conference, Chen Baiyue, President of the Asian Academy of Digital Economy Sciences, Mr. Philli, Chairman of the Indonesian Digitalization and Cybersecurity Association, and Mr. Zhao Jiao, Management Committee of Lhasa High tech Zone, this initiative injects new impetus into cross regional digital economy cooperation.

Multiple initial launches and digital economy project signing ceremonies were held at the event site

We have released the White Paper on Sichuan Province's Big Data Industry (2025) and the Open List of Digital Industry Supply and Application Scenarios in Ya'an City. 16 digital economy cooperation projects were signed on site, with a total investment of 11.5 billion yuan, injecting strong momentum into the upgrading of Ya'an's digital industry.

With the support of the Information and Communications Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, this event is a collaborative effort between provinces and cities, pioneering the combination of the Global Digital Economy Conference City Tour and the Local Industry Application Practice Conference. In the future, this conference will serve as an opportunity to promote normalized cooperation between Beijing and Ya'an. Beijing will actively promote the application of the "Beijing Plan" in Ya'an, jointly promote the construction of a digital friendly city, and provide support for Ya'an's participation in various international cooperation activities set up at the Global Digital Economy Conference. Ya'an is actively involved in the international cooperation of the "the Belt and Road" digital economy. With the advantages of resource aggregation and international influence of the Global Digital Economy Conference, it broadens cooperation fields and improves cooperation levels, takes the lead in the wave of global coordinated development of the digital economy, promotes high-quality development with digital empowerment, and writes a new chapter in international cooperation and regional development.
